San Jacinto Day

Today is the day that Texas won their independence from Mexico and it is the day that Aggies around the world get together for a celebration called Muster. We will be going to a home in Chattanooga where we eat and fellowship with other Aggies and then have the Muster ceremony.

Spring

It is spring in East Tennessee and oh, do we have pollen!! We have had several days of high pollen counts and unhealthy air conditions. Cars and trucks are now coated with a major film of yellow-green dusting of pollen.. What a great area to live in when you have allergies! today while playing golf you could see the pollen blowing from the pine trees!

This week end the spring soccer season began for Rheagan and for Tripp, it was his first time to get to play on a "real" team!

Because this is the year for the World Cup Soccer and the teams all have the jerseys of the major teams involved. Rheagan plays for Argentina and Tripp is on team Italy.

They both had games on Saturday morning...

and again on Sunday afternoon.
