Another Championship

Rheagan played in a 2-day competition for the Junior Club Championship. The first day started at 1:00 p.m. on a day when the temperatures were in the mid 90's.

As the afternoon continued to heat up, the rains came!

The 2nd day started at 8:00 a.m. with lots of dew on the ground.

She was nearing the 18th green and realized that she was going to win. It was time to take a deep breath and enjoy the moment.

Now He's Gone

Friday afternoon we went to the Tn. Aquarium.

Saturday morning we went to Lowe's where they built a ball and cup game.

Then it was home to make blackberry jelly.

After lunch, we went geo-caching and were successful on all 3 of our attempts.

We got a movie for the evening's activity.

After going to church Sunday morning...

we went to the river where knee-boarding and tubing were the favorites. (The "real" pictures are on Karen's big camera.)

This morning, it was time to pack up and head to the airport. The time with the brown-eyed grandson went too quickly, but we are so glad that he was able to come for a visit.

Yesterday, the brown-eyed grandson arrived from Texas and had to call home to let them know of his safe arrival.

This morning the boys played a little baseball and then...

it was time for the pool.

When it was time for lunch, we dressed up like cows and went to Chick-Fil-A (and got free food)!

Canada Day

Today is Canada Day, the equivilant of our July 4th. For many years we have been in Canada on this date and have celebrated with the locals. We have enjoyed parades, fireworks, hotdogs, pancakes, etc. as well as the Canadian people.
