Yesterday I received this beautiful bouquet of flowers for my birthday from my Texas family. Thanks so much.

Monday’s Musings
Our 50th high school reunion was such a success. Sunday morning we met at a breakfast restaurant and enjoyed visiting one more time together. I was busy talking…imagine that…that I forgot to take any pictures!
We drove to Houston and had supper with M, S, D & E. It was a wonderful time of eating Mexican food and catching up with their lives.
We were able to retrieve the pictures that we had “lost” from Friday. Yeah!
We had lunch with Joel and his wife Margaret on Friday before they left to take their grandson on a mini-vacation. He and M played basketball together in high school.
Then we stopped by the venue to help with decorating for Saturday night. It was great to be able to get in some hugs before we went to the hamburger outing Friday night.

Saturday Night

Saturday
This morning we met downtown at the Pines Theater where we had a picture made. Since we were both in the picture, I don’t have a group shot, but here are some snapshots while we were there.
There was even a parade in our honor!
Next we went to the Moore Farm where we had a fish fry. Again it was so good to see so many friends.
More to come after the gathering tonight.

Friday Activities
Today we had lunch with Joel and his wife, Margaret, but the camera was not cooperating and the pictures were on the camera, but not on the card!
We stopped by Crown Colony where the Sat. night activity will take place. The decorating committee were busy doing their thing, and I took several pictures but again the camera was acting up! It was great to see several friends and get in some early hugs and visiting.
Tonight we met at Ray’s for burger, fries, and onion rings. I was so busy visiting that I didn’t take many pictures. Here’s a sample of some that I took.

Start of a Great Week End
We are in Lufkin for our 50th high school reunion and we are so excited about seeing everyone.
We started off by eating at Mo’s when we landed in Houston.
This morning we had breakfast at the hotel before we headed out to run some errands.
One thing on our “to do” list was to put new flowers on the parents’ graves.
After lunch we began assembling the treats of M&Ms that each attendee will receive at the Saturday night get together.
We had supper with my brother, Jim, who will soon be retiring after 42 years of working at Atkinson Candy Company, and Sid and Debbie.
As we were leaving, we got an early start on the week end, when in walked Bill Cook and his wife Mary Alice.
