Start of a Great Week End

We are in Lufkin for our 50th high school reunion and we are so excited about seeing everyone.

We started off by eating at Mo’s when we landed in Houston.

This morning we had breakfast at the hotel before we headed out to run some errands.

One thing on our “to do” list was to put new flowers on the parents’ graves.

After lunch we began assembling the treats of M&Ms that each attendee will receive at the Saturday night get together.

We had supper with my brother, Jim, who will soon be retiring after 42 years of working at Atkinson Candy Company, and Sid and Debbie.

As we were leaving, we got an early start on the week end, when in walked Bill Cook and his wife Mary Alice.

Easter Pictures

Easter is always a day for traditional family pictures and here are ones of our girls and their families.

Easter Preparations

Had the chance to dye eggs and make a Bunny Cake in preparation for the secular side of Easter.

When will he get out of the “Cheesy” smile stage and have a “natural” smile?

Wordless Wednesday

Spring Soccer

Both R and T had their first soccer games for the spring season.  They both won their games and enjoyed playing and being outside.

Trip to Texas

Karen and her kids were on Spring Break this last week and decided to go to Texas to see P, J, K, and J.  I just HAD to go along!  It was so good to see all of the grandchildren together…it has been forever since that has happened.

Here are pictures from our 4 day trip…
