On Friday night we enjoyed a
Carne Guisada dinner,
sponsored by the 4H, before we went to the
Odem-Taft football game. The game was a hard hitting well fought game. I found the bands performances to be a little different than we are used to in that there were
cheerleaders and football players participating the bands activities.

On Saturday, we drove to College
Station to watch A&M beat Iowa State. the band did an exceptional job, the fly over was by F16s out of
Birmingham and flown by former students of A&M, and the weather was great.
