Our time with R and E was over and time to get on the plane.

Time is Up

The guests from California went home on Friday after a wonderful visit. I can't put any pictures on right now...I am on the laptop and the pictures are on the desk top computer. I'll add some later.

Wednesday, but not Wordless

The morning was filled with playing the Wii...

and doing "crafts".

Before we headed out to see Toy Story 3 we had to stop for less expensive candy!

We then went to see the Chattanooga Lookouts play baseball.

Tuesday

While we were taking a walk on the Greenway...

R spotted an owl in a tree!

After a stop at the library...

we headed to the Hiawassee River so we could raft down. We were on the water for 2 1/2 hours or so. Had a great time, but didn't take the camera incase of a spill!

Monday

Here is a group shot from the pool yesterday.

Today began with Mike using a jackhammer to get some concrete out of the flowerbed. No wonder various plants never did well in that spot!!

then he got some help getting the smaller pieces out of the hole.

Many hands make the job easier and faster.

Father's Day

Our Father's Day began with church, then lunch, and then time at the pool. Better pictures are on the other camera!

We got the kids to stop long enough for a picture before they continued their lightning bug hunt!

44 and counting!

We are celebrating our 44th anniversary! Wow!!

It was another day watching basketball games...

and having fun outside...and in. This is also R's birthday so we celebrated her 14th birthday with her favorite dinner and cake!

Friday

After being in the gym for 3 basketball games of CHS, we headed to the water!

Some Come and Some Go

Our visitors from California came last night...

and Callie is no more to be seen. She was around for 14 years and was a grown cat then.

Reunion Time Again

It is time for the annual Seago reunion, so off we headed to Texas! Along the way we stopped at several places...

Saturday Morning Activity

Yesterday afternoon Mike harvested this year's beet crop (which was about 15 lbs.) so this morning he washed, boiled, sliced and canned 1/2 of them into pickled beets. They turned out so pretty. Now he can eat the efforts of his labors all year!
