We recently took a trip to Texas.
One of our first stops was the Lufkin Bar-B-Que Bar and of course, their fried rolls. With butter and honey, they are the best! You will see the basket of rolls on top of the napkin holder.
Then we went to Odem for a whirlwind of various sporting activities. We started off watching P play in a baseball tournament in Falfurrias, which is half way to Mexico and in fact, one of the teams in the tournament spoke only Spanish!
We drove to Banquete to watch J run in a track meet.
The next day started with a dodgeball tournament at Odem Junior High.
The afternoon found us at the first of J’s double-header baseball game.
We left his game to go watch P in a district basseball game in Mathis.
On Saturday, we were back at Fal for P’s baseball tournament.
We were there all day for the tournament.
He thinks that he is taller than I and he might be, I just have tall hair!
On Sunday morning, J and his Dad drove us the the airport before they met the rest of the family at church.
We don’t get to see all of their ball games but we sure do enjoy them when we do!!
