As we sat on the balcony of the B&B where we are staying, this is part of the view that we had.
After a wonderful breakfast, we were ready to head out to see Saint Augustine.
We began by riding on the trolley and learning so much from the driver. We stopped at several sites…the Presbyterian Church that Henry Flagler had built as a memorial to his daughter who had died. The magnificent structure was built in less than a year!
This is just one of the entrances to the church. There is a mosaic floor and hand carved pews from mahogany. There is also a mausoleum where Mr. Flagler, his 1st wife and his daughter are buried.
Here is Mike being photographer!
More to come in the morning!
