This morning we had cereal, toast and English muffins for breakfast. We finished the Christmas puzzle that B brought...

and then went to the lobby to get another one...we may or may not get this one finished before we leave!

We went to the Sea Pines Preserve for an hour and a half walk through the old rice bogs, swamps, and Indian ruins. We saw 15 different species of birds including bald eagles, ruby-crowned kinglets, and red-tail hawks.

It was a beautiful day...clear blue sky with gorgeous sunshine, but still very cold!

We came back and had left-overs for lunch and then we watched Beneath the Planet of the Apes on the television.
Then it was time for supper at Captain Woody's.

Our selections included fried shrimp, fried oysters, and sea scallops.

I know it's cold because it is here, too. However, just looking at the pictures, it looks like a gorgeous autumn day.
