We enjoyed the sights, sounds, and smells of the River Walk and the Alamo.

The boat ride is an interesting experience.

It was a short walk over to the Alamo where 30 Tennessee Volunteers gave their life at the battle of the Alamo in 1836.

There was an exhibit of artifacts from the movie
The Alamo.

You were not allowed to take pictures in the chapel, museum or any of the exhibits.
This is a monument on the outside of the Alamo.

We went to the Mexican Market where we had Mexican food!! It was delicious.

We stopped at the River Walk a few times on our treks between Cleveland and Mexico. I always loved it! We never had time for the boat ride but I would like to do it one day! Thanks for sharing this!
