This morning we went to a city-wide Independence Day Celebration where we heard religious and patriotic music from a variety of groups. So many of the people had on their red, white, and blue, like we did.
We had an All-American meal of hot dogs, chips and watermelon.
We went to the pool to swim
and then came back and had homemade chocolate ice cream.
Our neighbors, Becky and David, came to meet Rebecca and Evan and brought some freshly made chocolate goodies. We watched some fireworks from Washington DC on the TV.
