47th Anniversary

The couple that works out together…

stays together…

It’s been a great ride for 47 years and we are looking forward to many more!

Anniversary Eve

Mike has plans for dinner tomorrow night, so we went out to eat for our anniversary tonight.

We were casual but that is pretty much how we are every day!

Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day to the best dad to our 2 girls!

An early (3 days) anniversary present to me!

Sat. Activities

We had a neighborhood work day where we cleaned up the median of the entrance to the subdivision.

We had a good turnout and lots of progress was made!

The grandchicks are really scattered today...P is playing baseball in San Antonio, J is at A&M football camp, R is at Camp Cherokee and T is at the river!  I pray for their success and enjoyment at these activities.

M and I went to Chattanooga for lunch.

Catch up Time

It’s been a month since I put something on the blog so I’ll try to catch up some now!

T had his Awana awards…

We went to Texas…

to see J get confirmed…

Back in Tennessee, R and T participated in a Drive, Chip and Putt event and they both won their age division.

R is playing on a team for the CCC and they play other golf clubs in the area.  So far their team is 3-0.

Swim meets are fun when your swimmer is up but pretty boring otherwise!

The University of Tennessee men’s basketball coach and players held a clinic at CHS. He’s the one in the Adaidas shirt!

More Activities

R played in the district golf tournament…notice the water.

After sloshing through 9 holes, she came in 2nd with a 43.

Then she played in the region tournament where they played 18 holes and she came in 4th with a 89.

T had a modified Field Day due to all of the recent rains.

Sponge relay…

a man on a mission…

some indoor activities…

grass stains after the tug of war…

sack race…

and 3-legged race.

Recent Activities

T had his final day of spring soccer and was awarded the best player in his age division.

We went to Crossville for a birthday dinner for Mike’s cousin, Mark.

Both R and T ran in the 5K race at Lee for Cystic Fybrosis.
