We went to Texas this past week end to see some football.

Of course, we had to get a bite to eat when we got off of the plane! And, yes, we ate the entire thing!!

We were in Lufkin for the Friday night high school game, but I forgot to take the camera, so there are no pictures from that game. Lufkin won handily against Tyler Lee.

Saturday morning we got up and went to College Station where we met K, J, P, and J with a couple of additions for lunch at Wings and More, and again, I forgot the camera. But we certainly did have a table full of delicious food.

It was time to head to the Texas A&M campus where we went to the dorm room of their nephew who is a freshman. Some things never change...dorm rooms are still small!

Time for a traditional picture...the boys are really growing. J is now 10 and P is 14...and taller than I am.
Getting to see the team walk in is always a highlight, but then everything at A&M is a highlight!
The flyover was a vintage WWII bomber.
Time for the kickoff of the 2010-11 football season...
Another good performance by the band...
A&M came out victorious over an out manned opponent.
